STePS

What is STePS?

STePS (Specialist Teaching and Psychology Service) ASD Team provide a parent drop-in service that gives you an opportunity to meet other parents and to talk to our team for Children and Young People with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Who is it for?

The drop in service is for parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, their grandparents, siblings and close friends as well as the children or young people themselves.

STePS ASD Team will be running the Parents Drop in every Friday during term time from 9:30am-12:00pm at 41-43 Brentford Drive, Derby.

As well as providing valuable social support to parents, who are often feeling quite isolated,  the Drop in is a good place to seek advice from the team, either informally or by appointment. They are now offering appointments at the Council House too, if that is more convenient for you.
