At St Clare’s we believe in supporting all elements of a young persons development. Alongside their academic growth, we also support each young persons social and emotional development through a variety of structured and unstructured learning experiences.
Tutorial sessions are timetabled for all classes across the school and each class receives a weekly lesson taught by their class tutor. Lessons aim to raise pupil emotional intelligence, emotional literacy and to give them an understanding of how the school’s Core Values help to inform good decision making. Each Core Value conveys the philosophy and ethos of the school. Each value is covered for two weeks and lesson content is further reinforced through assemblies, cross curricular activities and interpersonal behaviour around school.
